Overview and applications. The GP01MB is built for jobs where access and agility outweigh raw size: backyard excavation, garden and landscape construction, utility trenching, small earthworks on farmyards, and demolition or renovation in confined spaces. The hydraulically retractable undercarriage (750-950 mm) lets the machine pass through standard doorways and then widen out for stable, heavier-duty work. At an operating weight of just 1,035 kg, it is the right tool for rental fleets, municipal crews, and self-employed contractors who need precise excavation in tight quarters.

Powertrain and hydraulics. At the heart of the GP01MB sits a Kubota D722 three-cylinder diesel engine producing 10.2 kW at 2,500 rpm, a globally proven unit with outstanding parts availability. The Load-Sensing hydraulic system with a double gear pump delivers 25 L/min at 160 bar, enabling smooth, simultaneous movement of bucket, arm, boom, and slewing. Bucket and arm digging forces of 6.5 kN and 5.5 kN respectively translate into a maximum digging depth of 1,870 mm and a reach of 3,410 mm.

Operator comfort and safety. Control is via two ergonomic ISO-pattern joysticks plus a third foot circuit for the swing boom (54 degrees left / 59 degrees right), perfect for offset digging along walls and fences. The ROPS/TOPS canopy protects the operator at low working heights while keeping all-around visibility unobstructed within the 2,160 mm overall height. Two travel speeds (2.1 and 4.0 km/h) plus a 30-degree gradeability make on-site repositioning effortless.

Factory and warranty. Each GP01MB leaves the G&P GmbH assembly hall configured to the customer's specification: bucket variants, quick-coupler systems, auxiliary hydraulic circuits for attachments, and custom paintwork are all factory-fit options.
